jose. 46 in san francisco. you probably don't need the umbrella at least for the first half of the day. you'll notice the winds picking up out of the south as we move into the afternoon. right now those winds gusty at times in the hills but that will mix down to seaç level as the cold front here which is on the north coast slides toward the bay area. the timing on this system has slowed down a little bit. maybe some good news now heading toward the first half of the evening commute notice lunchtime still with the sunshine and then the clouds start to spill in. 7:00 now starting to see the rain heading toward the peninsula and then around 9:00, 10:00 and by midnight tonight is when the cold front is racing right across on top of the bay area. temperatures as we go hour by hour probably the warmest numbers around early afternoon and then cooling as we head into the evening with the winds picking up and after this cold front comes through bringing us rain later, much unsettled conditions will continue as we go i

i just -- i'm here basically to thank the city of san francisco for moving forward on the protection of the species in making efforts to protect the species in sharp park golf course. i'm a pacifica resident. i've lived there for nearly 30 years and almost the entire time i've lived there, i've been involved in environmental projects as a member of the open space task force, the open space committee, and also as a councilmember. and in the process, we preserved more than 500 acres of open space through our efforts, political efforts in our community, our preservation efforts in our community. so, i just want to say that as a preface to my comments about sharp park golf course, in the entire time that i worked on these projects in our community, no one ever considered taking away the golf course. the golf course was always viewed as kind of an ideal situation where you had endangered species, habitat that had actually evolved over time by the creation of freshwater habitat there. and the issue of the work at laguna salada which really began i think almost six years ago was to remove s
